ONDO Trading Goes Live on Solana Through Raydium and Sunrise

ONDO trading is now live on Solana through Raydium, with Sunrise providing the cross-chain infrastructure behind the new listing.
ONDO token goes live on Solana through Sunrise, with trading available on Raydium via cross-chain infrastructure.

Ondo Finance’s ONDO token is now available for trading on Solana through Raydium, with Sunrise’s cross-chain infrastructure enabling the listing, according to BSCN.

The development comes one day after Raydium announced support for Quant Network’s QNT token. BSCN said both listings were made possible through infrastructure developed by Sunrise, highlighting the role of cross-chain technology in bringing assets from different ecosystems to Solana-based markets.

ONDO Added to Raydium

Raydium has added ONDO to its trading platform, giving users access to the token through the Solana ecosystem. The announcement did not provide figures for trading volume, liquidity or the size of any ONDO liquidity pool.

The listing adds another venue for ONDO trading while extending the token’s availability within Solana’s decentralized finance infrastructure. BSCN specifically identified Sunrise’s cross-chain infrastructure as the technology enabling the listing.

The announcement follows the addition of QNT, meaning Raydium added support for assets associated with two different blockchain ecosystems in a short period.

Sunrise Provides Cross-Chain Infrastructure

According to BSCN, Sunrise’s own cross-chain infrastructure is responsible for making the listings possible. The post did not provide technical details about the specific mechanism used to transfer or represent ONDO and QNT on Solana.

The development comes as Ondo Finance continues to expand its presence across multiple blockchain networks. Ondo’s official ecosystem currently lists Solana, Ethereum and BNB Chain among the networks supporting its products and identifies Raydium as one of its decentralized-exchange ecosystem participants.

Ondo has previously deployed tokenized financial products on Solana. In 2023, the company announced the native deployment of its OUSG and USDY products on the network, citing Solana’s transaction infrastructure and growing decentralized finance activity.

Ondo Expands Its Onchain Market Infrastructure

The latest ONDO listing is separate from Ondo Finance’s tokenized stock products, but it arrives as the company continues expanding the availability of those assets across blockchain networks.

Ondo’s current website says Ondo Stocks is available on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana, with more than 450 tokenized stocks and ETFs listed across its platform. The company also says eligible non-U.S. users can access the products through third-party wallets, exchanges and DeFi protocols.

In June, Ondo announced 24/7 instant minting and redemption for selected tokenized stocks and ETFs across Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana. The company said the initial assets included SPYon, QQQon, CRCLon, NVDAon, TSLAon and GOOGLon.

The ONDO listing on Raydium therefore adds another Solana-based trading route for Ondo’s native token. However, the BSCN post does not specify how much liquidity or trading activity the new market has generated.

For now, the confirmed development is that ONDO trading is live on Raydium through the cross-chain infrastructure provided by Sunrise.
