Bitcoin rose above $85,000 while Solana led major crypto gains and smaller tokens posted triple-digit increases over 24 hours.
Bitcoin above $85,000 alongside Solana gains and sharp moves among smaller cryptocurrency tokens.

Bitcoin climbed back above $85,000 as most major cryptocurrencies advanced over the latest 24-hour period, while several smaller tokens recorded triple-digit gains.

According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 3.4% to $85,984.63, with $38.47 billion in trading volume and a market capitalization of approximately $1.73 trillion.

Solana (SOL) posted the strongest gain among the five largest nonstablecoin cryptocurrencies, increasing 3.8% to $121.96. The token recorded $4.01 billion in trading volume and a market capitalization of $71.75 billion.

Ethereum (ETH) gained 1.7% to $2,715.42, with roughly $15.41 billion in trading volume and a market capitalization of $331.43 billion.

Bitcoin and Major Cryptocurrencies Extend Gains

Other large-cap cryptocurrencies also moved higher during the period.

XRP (XRP) increased 2.0% to $1.51, accompanied by $2.80 billion in trading volume and a market capitalization of $95.53 billion. BNB (BNB) added 1.6% to $776.37, with trading volume of approximately $769.07 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) rose 1.1% to $0.09571. Its trading volume reached $836.75 million, while its market capitalization stood at $14.94 billion.

The broader advance was not universal. TRON (TRX) declined 1.0% to $0.3341, while Zcash (ZEC) dropped 2.3% to $1,376.28 despite recording about $1.28 billion in trading volume.

The figures show a relatively moderate move among the largest cryptocurrencies compared with the much larger percentage changes recorded by several smaller tokens.

Smaller Tokens Post Triple-Digit Gains

The strongest percentage moves came from smaller assets.

Super Cat (SC) topped the supplied gainers list after surging 696.7% to $0.0172. Trading volume reached $92.69 million during the period.

Revenue Family (REVENUE) followed with a 454.7% increase to $0.02355 and approximately $111.87 million in trading volume. HoodPork (PORKU) recorded a similar 454.6% gain, reaching $0.03111, although its trading volume was considerably lower at $16.77 million.

Dolphin (POD) climbed 106.2% to $0.6511, while Commander VRAX (VRAX) rose 104.7% to $0.02488. Their respective trading volumes were approximately $9.64 million and $35.81 million.

Other notable gainers included Verified Emeralds (VEREM), which advanced 46.1% to $8.95 on only $297,661 in trading volume, and Railgun (RAIL), which gained 30.7% to $3.11 with approximately $1.62 million in volume.

The contrast between the major cryptocurrencies and smaller tokens was pronounced over the period. Bitcoin and most large-cap assets posted gains in the low single digits, while several smaller tokens recorded substantially larger percentage increases. TRON and Zcash were exceptions among the major assets, both ending the period lower.
