XRP Reserves on Binance Reach Three-Month High Near 2.68 Billion
XRP reserves held on Binance have risen to approximately 2.683 billion tokens, marking their highest level in three months as XRP trades near the $1.50 resistance area.
The increase reverses part of a prolonged decline in Binance’s XRP balance, during which exchange withdrawals generally exceeded deposits. The latest reading places substantially more XRP within the exchange’s trading environment, increasing available liquidity while also expanding the amount of tokens that could potentially enter the market.
The reserve balance had fallen to roughly 2.60 billion XRP in August before beginning to recover. The latest figure is Binance’s highest XRP reserve level since late June.
Binance XRP Reserves Rise as Exchange Supply Recovers
On-chain data indicates that Binance’s XRP reserves declined from late March through August as withdrawals generally outpaced deposits. That trend changed as the exchange balance recovered from the 2.60 billion XRP area.
The increase has occurred alongside a broader recovery in XRP’s price. According to cryptoquant, The token previously declined from approximately $2.00 toward $1.00 before returning toward the $1.50 level, which has emerged as a notable resistance area.

The price response is relevant because the higher exchange balance has not, by itself, produced an immediate breakdown in XRP. Buyers have so far absorbed available supply while the token has moved back toward the $1.50 area.
Higher exchange reserves mean Binance has more XRP available within its trading environment. That can support market liquidity, but it also places a larger quantity of tokens in an environment where they can potentially be sold.
Higher Reserves Do Not Confirm Selling Pressure
The rise in Binance’s XRP reserves should not automatically be interpreted as evidence that a major sell-off is approaching.
Traders, institutions and market makers may transfer XRP to an exchange for several reasons that do not involve an immediate intention to sell. As a result, reserve data alone cannot establish the direction of future market activity.
Net exchange flows can provide additional context by showing whether deposits are consistently exceeding withdrawals. A sustained pattern of net inflows combined with falling prices would provide stronger evidence that exchange-held supply is contributing to selling pressure.
For now, the three-month reserve high primarily points to increased liquidity and a larger pool of XRP potentially available for trading.
XRP Price at $1.50 Becomes Key Test
XRP’s behavior around $1.50 could provide a clearer indication of whether the additional exchange-held supply is being absorbed by demand.
A sustained move above the $1.50 resistance level would indicate that buyers are able to absorb the increased availability of XRP despite the higher Binance balance.
Conversely, another rejection around $1.50 could leave XRP more vulnerable to weakness if Binance reserves continue rising. Selling pressure could become more significant if demand weakens while the amount of XRP readily available for trading continues to increase.
For that reason, reserve levels are best assessed alongside net exchange flows, spot trading volume and price action. The latest Binance data represents a potential supply warning, but it does not independently establish that an imminent XRP decline is underway.
