Crypto Market Rebounds as Bitcoin Tops $85,000 and Smaller Tokens Surge

Bitcoin reclaimed $85,000 as Dogecoin jumped 13.5%, while smaller cryptocurrencies recorded gains of more than 300% during the market rebound.
Bitcoin and major cryptocurrencies rise as smaller tokens post sharp percentage gains

The cryptocurrency market posted a broad recovery as Bitcoin climbed back above $85,000, while Dogecoin delivered the strongest gain among major digital assets and several smaller tokens recorded much larger percentage increases.

Bitcoin (BTC) rose 5% to $85,439.51, accompanied by $62.48 billion in trading volume. Its market capitalization reached $1.72 trillion, according to CoinGecko data.

The move extended across several large-cap cryptocurrencies. Ethereum (ETH) gained 2.7% to $2,733.01 with $25.67 billion in turnover, taking its market valuation to $333.56 billion. XRP advanced 6.8% to $1.52 on $6.14 billion in volume, while its market capitalization reached $95.67 billion.

BNB increased 1.8% to $787.30, with $1.88 billion in trading volume, and Solana (SOL) climbed 4.9% to $116.63. Dogecoin (DOGE), however, outpaced the other major cryptocurrencies, jumping 13.5% to $0.1001 on $3.46 billion in volume.

TRON (TRX) and Hyperliquid (HYPE) also recorded modest gains, while Zcash (ZEC) moved in the opposite direction, falling 2.1% despite generating $1.38 billion in trading volume.

Smaller Tokens Post Much Larger Gains

The recovery was more pronounced among several lower-ranked cryptocurrencies, where percentage gains substantially exceeded those recorded by the largest assets.

Musebook (MUSEBOOK) was the strongest performer among the listed smaller tokens, surging 358.1% to $0.0002301. Trading volume reached $20.79 million.

Aurora (AURORA) followed with a 173.3% increase to $0.05937, supported by $18.53 million in turnover. ICON (ICX) climbed 148.3% to $0.02529, although its trading volume was considerably lower at $3.02 million.

The gains were accompanied by substantial activity in several other tokens. Mubarak (MUBARAK) rose 79.3% to $0.06059 on $121.31 million in volume, the highest turnover among the smaller tokens listed in the source data.

Delta (DELTA) advanced 77.6% to $0.02092, while AIOZ Network (AIOZ) gained 53.4% to $0.139.

SODAX (SODA) increased 52.3% to $0.01561, although its trading activity was only $235,173. Akedo (AKE) completed the group with a 49.6% rise to $0.05437 and $101.22 million in trading volume.

Broad Recovery Extends Across Crypto Market

The market performance showed a clear contrast between large-cap and smaller cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin and other established assets posted moderate gains, while several lower-ranked tokens recorded triple-digit percentage increases.

Dogecoin's 13.5% advance stood out among major cryptocurrencies, while Bitcoin's return above $85,000 provided the largest market-level move in absolute capitalization terms.

At the same time, Zcash's decline demonstrated that the broader recovery was not uniform across all assets. The combination of higher trading activity and larger gains among smaller tokens indicated stronger participation across different segments of the cryptocurrency market during the session.
