XRP Price Rebounds to $1.31 as Bulls Test Key Resistance at $1.33
XRP has rebounded to around $1.31 after falling for most of October, offering an early sign that buyers may be returning to the market. The recovery follows a decline from approximately $1.55 to a low near $1.25, although the broader trend remains bearish.
The token has now recorded a positive daily candle for the first time after weeks of persistent selling pressure. Whether the rebound develops into a sustained recovery will depend on XRP's ability to overcome nearby resistance levels and attract stronger trading volume.
XRP Finds Support Between $1.25 and $1.30
The $1.25 to $1.30 range is emerging as a potential support zone after XRP briefly tested the area before moving higher. The latest candle formed an extended lower wick, a pattern that suggests buyers stepped in as the price approached those levels.
The same region provided support in September, before XRP rallied to $1.65. However, that earlier move does not guarantee a similar recovery this time, particularly while the broader price trend remains downward.
XRP Price Faces Resistance at $1.33 and $1.38
The first major technical hurdle is the orange moving average near $1.33. XRP would need to record a daily close above that level to provide stronger evidence that the current rebound is gaining momentum.
Beyond $1.33, additional resistance lies around $1.37 to $1.38, where the blue and black moving-average lines converge. XRP failed to sustain a move above this area during its previous decline, making it another important level for traders to watch.
The relative strength index (RSI) is near 40, indicating weak momentum without placing XRP in oversold territory. This leaves room for a potential recovery if buying pressure strengthens, but the indicator alone does not confirm a trend reversal.
Trading Volume Remains a Key Factor
Despite the positive daily candle, trading volume remains low. A more convincing recovery would require stronger volume on upward-moving sessions to demonstrate that buyers are supporting the price advance.
The immediate bullish objective is a daily close above $1.33, followed by potential moves toward $1.38 and $1.45. These levels remain conditional targets rather than confirmed outcomes.
On the downside, a drop below $1.25 would undermine the current rebound and could expose XRP to further declines toward $1.20 or lower.
XRP's short-term direction remains uncertain. The next several daily candles may help determine whether the move toward $1.31 marks the beginning of a reversal or only a temporary pause in the broader decline.
