XRP ETFs Post $4.07 Million Inflow as Ethereum Funds Lose $55.37 Million
XRP exchange-traded funds recorded $4.07 million in net inflows on Oct. 1, while U.S. Ethereum ETFs saw $55.37 million in net outflows, creating a $59.44 million difference between the two categories on the first trading session of the month, according to SoSoValue data.
The positive XRP flow followed weaker activity toward the end of September and was accompanied by $25.87 million in trading volume across XRP ETF products.
Franklin Templeton and Bitwise recorded inflows during the session, while withdrawals from Canary offset part of the capital entering other XRP funds. Franklin accounted for the largest inflow among the named issuers.
XRP ETF Inflows Led by Franklin Templeton
Franklin Templeton's XRP ETF recorded approximately $4.06 million in inflows, compared with about $3.18 million entering Bitwise's product. Canary's XRP ETF, meanwhile, registered roughly $3.18 million in outflows.
The opposing flows from Bitwise and Canary effectively canceled each other out at the reported level, leaving Franklin as the primary contributor to the XRP ETF category's $4.07 million aggregate net inflow.
Franklin's reported inflow was approximately $880,000 larger than Bitwise's, although the aggregate figures reflect the effects of outflows from other products in the group.
The session illustrates different flow patterns among XRP ETF issuers, with capital entering some products while investors simultaneously redeemed shares from another.
Ethereum ETFs Start October With Outflows
Ethereum ETFs moved in the opposite direction, recording $55.37 million in net withdrawals on Oct. 1. The outflows reduced their cumulative net inflows to approximately $13.84 billion.
The $59.44 million difference between Ethereum's negative daily flow and XRP's positive result gave XRP ETFs the stronger opening-day flow figure, although the XRP inflow remained substantially smaller in absolute terms than Ethereum's cumulative net inflow balance.
XRP ETFs ended the first trading session of October with a modest net addition, driven primarily by Franklin Templeton, while Ethereum funds began the month with a negative daily flow.
