U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracted $20.02 million on September 22 as XRP traded above $1.60, led by Bitwise with $19.16 million.
XRP trades above $1.60 as U.S. spot XRP ETFs record $20.02 million in net inflows

U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded $20.02 million in net inflows on September 22 as XRP traded above $1.60, with Bitwise accounting for about 96% of the day's new investment.

Data from SoSoValue showed that Bitwise's XRP fund received $19.16 million, while Franklin's XRPZ added $862,200. The Canary, 21Shares and Grayscale XRP funds reported no net inflows during the session.

Despite the absence of net additions at those three funds, trading continued across all five products. Combined trading volume reached $95.70 million, illustrating the difference between total shares traded and the amount of capital that remains as net new investment.

The latest inflows brought cumulative net investment across the five U.S. spot XRP ETFs to approximately $1.73 billion. Combined net assets also stood at about $1.73 billion, representing roughly 1.75% of XRP's market capitalization.

Bitwise Leads XRP ETF Inflows and Trading Activity

Bitwise dominated both capital inflows and trading activity during the September 22 session.

The fund generated $65.40 million in trading volume, substantially more than the other listed products. Franklin recorded another $18.92 million, while Canary's XRPC generated $8.94 million in volume.

Trading volume and net inflows measure different aspects of ETF activity. A fund can record substantial trading volume without receiving significant net investment because purchases and sales can offset one another during the session.

By net assets, Bitwise remained the largest XRP ETF, with $615.05 million. Franklin followed with $449.21 million, while Canary held $392.73 million.

The 21Shares fund had $170.48 million in assets despite cumulative net outflows of $21.15 million. Grayscale's fund held $103.93 million. Together, the five products had approximately $1.73 billion in net assets.

XRP Moves Above Upper Bollinger Band

XRP traded at around $1.6028 on Bitstamp's daily chart as the token recovered toward the highs reached during its earlier advance.

The move also pushed XRP above its upper Bollinger Band, which stood near $1.5689. The middle Bollinger Band was around $1.4033, highlighting the distance between the current price and the indicator's central level following XRP's pullback earlier in September.

The 14-day relative strength index (RSI) was approximately 69, compared with an average of about 55.32. An RSI near 70 reflects strong recent price momentum, although the indicator alone does not establish the direction of XRP's next move.

At roughly $1.60, XRP was approaching the earlier high around $1.65 to $1.66. If the price retreats, the upper Bollinger Band near $1.5689 provides a reference point for tracking whether the recent advance remains intact.

The September 22 ETF data showed that Bitwise was responsible for almost all new investment during the session, while XRP's move above $1.60 placed the token near another test of its recent highs.
