XRP Buy Signals Emerge as Analysts Watch $1.25 Support and $1.50 Resistance
XRP is showing several technical buy signals despite continued price weakness near $1.30, while analysts are monitoring key support and resistance levels for signs of a potential recovery. The token briefly fell below $1.30 during Thursday's broader crypto market sell-off before recovering above that level.
Technical indicators suggest XRP could be approaching a local bottom, although another decline remains possible. At the same time, spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded renewed inflows on October 14, while Ripple continued expanding its institutional financial services and custody partnerships.
XRP Price Analysis Highlights $1.25 Support
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez said XRP could experience another pullback before attempting a stronger recovery. On the hourly chart, the token appears to be trading within a parallel channel, with $1.25 emerging as a level to watch for potential buying interest.
According to Martinez's analysis, a rebound from $1.25 could send XRP toward $1.42. A stronger advance could eventually take the price to the channel's upper boundary near $1.60. These levels represent potential price scenarios rather than confirmed targets.
Martinez also identified multiple technical buy signals on XRP's chart, suggesting that a local bottom may be developing. The signals included a Sequential 13, followed by a TD 9 and an Aggressive 13.
Meanwhile, analyst ChartNerd identified $1.50 as an important resistance level. A break above that price could bring $1.80 and $2 into focus, although the market would first need to overcome the identified barrier.
Spot XRP ETFs Record $740,410 in Inflows
US-listed spot XRP ETFs attracted $740,410 in net inflows on October 14, ending three consecutive days with zero net flows. Bitwise's fund was the only product to record inflows during the session, according to the reported data.
The funds have attracted a combined $12.8 million so far this month. The return of inflows provides another indicator of institutional investment activity while XRP continues to face short-term price pressure.
Ripple Expands Institutional Financial Services
Beyond XRP's price performance, Ripple is extending its presence in traditional financial markets. Ripple Prime has introduced swap financing for leveraged ETF strategies through its prime brokerage platform.
The development follows an expanded partnership with hedge fund manager Brevan Howard. The collaboration aims to broaden the services available to hedge funds and investment managers.
Standard Chartered has also introduced custody support for Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin through its DIFC branch in Dubai. The development adds another institutional connection involving Ripple and comes alongside the bank's partnership with LMAX Group.
Evernorth Holds Around 473 Million XRP
Evernorth, an XRP treasury company, made its Nasdaq debut on October 12 following a merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. The company holds approximately 473 million XRP and has named Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo as execution partners.
The group plans to help deploy Evernorth's cryptocurrency holdings into institutional strategies beginning in the fourth quarter of 2026.
For XRP, the immediate technical picture remains uncertain. A possible move toward $1.25 could create another test of buying interest, while a break above $1.50 would be an important development for traders watching higher resistance levels. ETF inflows and Ripple's institutional expansion provide additional market context, but neither confirms that a sustained price recovery is underway.
