Solana RWA Market Cap Jumps From $700 Million to $4.3 Billion in One Year
Solana's on-chain real-world asset (RWA) market capitalization increased from approximately $700 million to $4.3 billion over the past year, according to Wu Blockchain a Castle Labs report on the Solana ecosystem cited by Wu Blockchain. The expansion lifted Solana's RWA market size relative to Ethereum, with Solana's share of Ethereum's RWA market capitalization rising from roughly 4.5% to 26% over the same period.
The report also highlighted Solana's application revenue, which reached $193.1 million over the past 30 days. That figure ranked first among the networks tracked, ahead of Hyperliquid, with $86.5 million, and Ethereum, with $53.8 million.
Solana's RWA Market Expands to $4.3 Billion
Castle Labs' report recorded a substantial increase in the value of real-world assets represented on the Solana blockchain. The network's on-chain RWA market capitalization rose from about $700 million to $4.3 billion over the past year, reflecting a significant change in its position within the segment.
Ethereum's RWA market capitalization also increased during the same period, moving from $15.5 billion to $16.6 billion. However, the absolute increase reported for Ethereum was smaller than Solana's expansion over the period covered by the report.
The comparison illustrates how Solana's RWA market grew relative to Ethereum's. Solana's RWA market capitalization stood at roughly 4.5% of Ethereum's at the beginning of the period, but that ratio rose to 26% over the following year.
The figures refer specifically to on-chain RWA market capitalization. The report details the changes in market size but does not, in the information cited by Wu Blockchain, provide a breakdown of the assets responsible for Solana's increase or explain the individual factors behind the growth.
Solana Leads Tracked Networks in Application Revenue
Beyond RWA growth, the Castle Labs report highlighted revenue generated by applications on Solana. Over the past 30 days, Solana's application revenue reached $193.1 million, placing the network first among those included in the report's comparison.
Hyperliquid ranked behind Solana with $86.5 million in application revenue over the same period, while Ethereum recorded $53.8 million. Solana's reported figure was more than twice Hyperliquid's and substantially higher than Ethereum's.
The revenue comparison provides a separate measure of activity across the tracked networks, distinct from the RWA market-cap figures. While the RWA data measures the market capitalization of on-chain real-world assets, application revenue reflects the revenue attributed to applications during the specified 30-day period.
Together, the report's figures place Solana ahead of Hyperliquid and Ethereum in application revenue among the networks tracked, while also documenting an markets increase in Solana's RWA market capitalization from about $700 million to $4.3 billion over the past year.
