Robinhood Chain DEX Volume Hits Record $989 Million in August
Robinhood Chain recorded a record single-day decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume of $989 million on August 29, 2026, marking a sharp increase in activity across the network during August.
The figure was reported by The Block's Data and Insights newsletter on August 31, 2026. The surge coincided with substantial growth in the network's total value locked (TVL) and stablecoin supply, highlighting increased activity and liquidity on Robinhood Chain.
Robinhood Chain DEX Volume and TVL Surge
Robinhood Chain's DEX trading volume reached $989 million in a single day on Friday, August 29. At the same time, the network recorded significant gains in other key indicators during August.
TVL reached about $708 million, nearly double the previous month's level. Stablecoin supply increased to roughly $770 million, representing a 47% month-over-month gain.
| Metric | August 2026 | Monthly Change |
|---|---|---|
| Robinhood DEX volume, single day | $989 million | Record high |
| TVL | $708 million | Nearly 2x |
| Stablecoin supply | $770 million | +47% |
The combination of higher trading volume, TVL and stablecoin supply indicates that substantially more capital was active across the network during August.
Meme Coins and Tokenized Stocks Drive Unusual Trading Activity
Another notable development was the growing use of tokenized equities in trading pairs involving meme coins.
LONG, one of Robinhood Chain's largest launchpads, primarily supported meme tokens paired with tokenized equities rather than conventional cryptocurrency assets.
One prominent example is the AI-themed meme coin NVDA pair involving "Artificial Inu," which trades against tokenized NVDA shares. Its market capitalization increased from about $1.5 million on August 1 to a peak of $135 million on August 30.
The token also held more than $3.3 million in NVDA pool liquidity, more than three times the depth of its ETH pool.

Meme coins paired with tokenized stocks accounted for roughly a quarter of all stock-linked trading volume on Robinhood Chain.
Robinhood Chain Activity Shifts From July
The network's activity also changed significantly between July and August.
July was largely driven by meme coin speculation following the CASHCAT token run and its spot listing. In August, activity shifted toward utility-focused and infrastructure projects.
PONS, a major launchpad on the network, increased its market capitalization from $20 million to more than $200 million during the month.
Other projects also recorded substantial valuation increases. Delta, a liquidity-layer protocol, UP, a ve(3,3) emissions project, and NetNet, an OHM-style bonding project, each reportedly increased their valuations by roughly 10x during August.
What the August Data Means for Robinhood Chain
The August figures show that Robinhood Chain's growth was not limited to meme coin trading. Infrastructure and utility-related projects also gained traction as liquidity and stablecoin supply expanded.
The emergence of trading pairs that combine meme coins with tokenized stocks represents another notable feature of the network's recent activity. It brings traditional equity exposure into an environment that also includes decentralized trading and crypto-native assets.
The sustainability of August's rapid growth will depend on activity in subsequent months. The record DEX volume, rising TVL and increased stablecoin supply nevertheless make August a significant period in Robinhood Chain's development.
