Polygon Stablecoin Transfer Volume Reaches $2.9 Trillion
According to data shared by BSCN, the cumulative figure has increased from $2.7 trillion, which Polygon announced on July 23, and $2.6 trillion reported on June 3. The latest increase also shows a faster pace of growth over the most recent 50-day period.
Polygon Adds $200 Billion in 50 Days
Polygon added $200 billion in cumulative stablecoin transfer volume during the last 50 days, according to the figures cited by BSCN.
That compares with an increase of $100 billion during the preceding 50-day period. The difference means the volume added over the latest period was twice the amount recorded in the previous 50-day window.
The cumulative transfer figure has therefore moved higher in successive updates, rising from $2.6 trillion on June 3 to $2.7 trillion on July 23 before reaching $2.9 trillion in the latest data.
Stablecoin Activity Accelerates
The pace of growth is the key change highlighted in the latest figures. Polygon accumulated an additional $100 billion during the 50-day period before the latest one, then added another $200 billion over the subsequent 50 days.
The data measures cumulative stablecoin transfer volume on Polygon. It does not, by itself, indicate the number of individual transactions or identify the specific stablecoins responsible for the reported volume.
Polygon announced the earlier $2.7 trillion milestone on July 23, while the $2.6 trillion figure had been reported on June 3. The latest update places cumulative stablecoin transfer volume at $2.9 trillion.
$2.9 Trillion Milestone Marks Latest Increase
The latest milestone comes as Polygon’s reported cumulative stablecoin transfer volume continues to expand at a faster pace than during the previous 50-day period.
From June 3 to the latest figure, cumulative volume increased by $300 billion, based on the figures provided by BSCN. The most recent $200 billion increase accounts for the larger portion of that growth.
For now, the latest data puts Polygon’s cumulative stablecoin transfer volume at $2.9 trillion, following the $2.7 trillion milestone announced by the network on July 23.
