OKX 47th proof-of-reserves report showing increased BTC, ETH and USDT user holdings and reserve ratios above 100%.

OKX has released its 47th proof-of-reserves report, showing higher user holdings of Bitcoin, Ether and USDT compared with the exchange’s previous Aug. 11 snapshot.

According to data shared by Wu Blockchain, OKX reported 139,865 BTC in user assets as of the Sept. 8, 2026 snapshot, an increase of 4.07%, or 5,466 BTC, from the previous report. OKX’s official proof-of-reserves page confirms the 139,865 BTC figure and a 109% reserve ratio.

Bitcoin Holdings Rise 4.07%

The increase in Bitcoin holdings places the amount of BTC held for OKX users above the level recorded in the Aug. 11 snapshot.

OKX reported 153,151 BTC in wallet assets against 139,865 BTC in account assets, resulting in a 109% reserve ratio. The exchange said its wallet assets include 146,359 BTC held at the exchange and 6,792 BTC under third-party custody.

A reserve ratio above 100% means the assets reported in OKX-controlled wallets exceed the corresponding customer account assets included in the proof-of-reserves calculation.

ETH and USDT Holdings Also Increase

User Ether holdings rose 3.49% to 1.786 million ETH, according to Wu Blockchain. OKX’s published figures show 1,785,866 ETH in account assets, compared with 1,796,024 ETH in wallet assets, producing a 101% reserve ratio.

USDT holdings increased 4.62% to 8.49 billion tokens. The official report lists 8,492,815,188 USDT in account assets and 8,953,354,829 USDT in wallet assets, corresponding to a 105% reserve ratio.

The figures cover the snapshot taken on Sept. 8. OKX's proof-of-reserves files identify that date as the latest report period and provide separate reserve and liability records for verification.

OKX Uses zk-STARK Verification

OKX says its proof-of-reserves system uses cryptographic verification, including zk-STARK technology, to demonstrate its holdings and compare wallet assets with customer account balances. The exchange also publishes wallet addresses and verification files so users can independently review the reported reserves.

The latest report lists $27.4 billion in primary assets and covers multiple cryptocurrencies in addition to BTC, ETH and USDT. OKX states that its proof of reserves is intended to provide transparency into assets held on the exchange.

The Sept. 8 snapshot is the basis for the 47th report, with the next markets report providing the subsequent comparison of OKX customer assets and reserves.
