The cryptocurrency market moved higher across major assets, with Bitcoin, Ethereum and several leading altcoins posting gains during the measured 24-hour period. According to CoinGecko data, Smaller tokens recorded even sharper advances, although trading activity varied significantly across the market.

Bitcoin (BTC) rose 1.4% to $81,621.65, with $23.95 billion in trading volume. Its market capitalization reached $1.64 trillion, keeping Bitcoin as the largest cryptocurrency by market value despite stronger percentage gains among several altcoins.

Ethereum (ETH) gained 3.3% to $2,664.10, while daily trading volume approached $14 billion. Its market capitalization increased to $325.19 billion as demand for the second-largest cryptocurrency strengthened.

XRP, DOGE and ZEC Advance With Major Altcoins

Several major altcoins also extended the market recovery.

BNB (BNB) climbed 2.8% to $772.87, supported by approximately $1.10 billion in daily trading turnover. XRP (XRP) gained 3.9% to $1.44, with trading volume reaching $2.69 billion.

Solana (SOL) advanced 3.1% to $112.29 on $3.48 billion in daily volume, while TRON (TRX) posted a more modest 0.8% increase to $0.3429.

Zcash (ZEC) matched XRP's 3.9% gain, reaching $1,506.53. Its market capitalization stood at $25.53 billion.

Hyperliquid (HYPE) rose 3.2% to $94.09, while Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 4.3% to $0.08928. The moves put DOGE among the stronger performers within the group of established cryptocurrencies during the period.

Smaller Tokens Post Larger Percentage Gains

The strongest percentage moves came from smaller-cap assets.

Orbio.so (ORBIO) led the listed gainers with a 107.2% increase to $0.09077, accompanied by $9.97 million in trading volume.

ZZZ (ZZZ) followed with a 73.4% advance to $0.02975, although its daily volume was considerably lower at $3.06 million. ZetaChain (ZETA) rose 58.8% to $0.06147, recording $84.15 million in turnover.

ALLINU (ALLINU) increased 50.1% to $0.02075 on approximately $5.73 million in volume. Edel (EDEL) added 47.3% to $0.02849, while STONK (STONK) climbed 43.5% to $0.3682.

STONK recorded $43.07 million in trading volume, giving it substantially more market activity than some of the other smaller tokens among the day's leading gainers.

Nillion (NIL) completed the group, rising 39.5% to $0.06975 with $51.92 million in daily trading volume.

Liquidity Remains Important for Smaller Crypto Assets

The broad recovery extended across both established cryptocurrencies and smaller tokens, but the scale of gains differed considerably.

Smaller assets can experience greater price volatility when available liquidity is limited. Concentrated demand can produce larger price movements, while lower trading depth can also contribute to wider fluctuations.

The market session therefore showed two distinct patterns: major cryptocurrencies posted moderate gains, while several smaller tokens recorded substantially larger percentage increases alongside varying levels of trading activity.
