Bitget Reopens ETH Withdrawals, Records 651 ETH Inflows

Bitget reopened ETH withdrawals on September 29, with BSCN reporting 651 ETH in net inflows from 9,674 ETH sent in and 9,023 withdrawn.
Bitget reopens Ethereum withdrawals on September 29 following a period of restricted access, with 651 ETH in reported net inflows.

Bitget reopened Ethereum (ETH) withdrawals on September 29 after a period of restricted access, marking the second stage of the cryptocurrency exchange’s phased restoration of withdrawal services.

According to data shared by BSCN, approximately 651 ETH had moved into Bitget on a net basis as of 09:00 UTC. The figures showed 9,674 ETH sent to the exchange against 9,023 ETH withdrawn.

ETH Withdrawals Resume After BTC Restoration

Bitget’s ETH withdrawal service was restored on September 29 as part of a scheduled rollout following a security incident that temporarily affected withdrawal services. The exchange’s published timetable set ETH withdrawals to resume at 08:00 UTC across Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base and Optimism.

The reopening followed the restoration of Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawals on September 28. Bitget had announced that withdrawal services would return in phases after its security and technical teams completed additional validation of the exchange’s withdrawal infrastructure.

BSCN’s reported on-chain figures provide an early snapshot of ETH flows following the reopening. With 9,674 ETH sent in and 9,023 ETH withdrawn as of 09:00 UTC, the difference amounted to approximately 651 ETH in net inflows.

The figures reflect the balance between the ETH entering and leaving Bitget during the period measured by BSCN. They do not, by themselves, establish why users transferred the asset or indicate future trading activity.

Bitget Continues Phased Withdrawal Restoration

Bitget has described the withdrawal suspension as a security measure rather than an indication of insufficient user assets. The exchange said the vulnerability associated with the incident had been identified and remediated, while additional security checks and an independent investigation continued.

Under the announced schedule, USDT withdrawals are set to resume on September 30 across Ethereum, BSC, Solana and Tron. Other supported tokens, along with fiat withdrawals and peer-to-peer services, are scheduled to return on October 2.

Bitget has also said trading and deposit services remained operational during the withdrawal restrictions. The exchange’s phased approach is intended to restore individual assets and networks after the relevant security validation has been completed.

The latest ETH reopening therefore represents the next completed stage in Bitget’s announced restoration schedule, with USDT withdrawals scheduled as the next major step on September 30.
