Binance to List MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) for Spot Trading With Three
Binance will add MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) to its spot market on Sept. 4, expanding trading access for the token with three new pairs: MARSCOIN/USDT, MARSCOIN/USDC and MARSCOIN/TRY. The listing comes as the token records a sharp increase in trading activity.
According to information published by Wu Blockchain, spot trading is scheduled to begin at 13:00 UTC on Sept. 4. Withdrawals are expected to open at 13:00 UTC on Sept. 5. Binance's official announcement confirms the same trading schedule and says MARSCOIN will carry the exchange's Seed Tag designation.
Binance Moves MARSCOIN From Alpha to Spot Market
MARSCOIN was previously available through Binance Alpha, the exchange's platform for showcasing selected tokens before broader spot-market availability. Once spot trading begins, MARSCOIN will no longer be displayed on Binance Alpha.
Binance said users holding MARSCOIN in Alpha accounts can still sell the token through Alpha Instant for one hour after spot trading opens. Trading activity conducted markets after the spot launch will no longer count toward Binance Alpha Points.
The exchange also warned that MARSCOIN is a relatively new asset and could experience significant price volatility. The Seed Tag indicates that Binance considers the token to carry higher risks than more established listed assets.
MARSCOIN Market Activity and SPCXB Rewards
Wu Blockchain reported that MARSCOIN is a "stock meme" token whose holders can receive SPCXB rewards through Flap's cryptocurrency mechanism. Binance data cited in the report showed MARSCOIN up about 59% over the previous 24 hours, with a market capitalization of roughly $181.6 million and 24-hour trading volume of about $95.4 million.
Binance previously clarified that reward distribution for eligible holders is handled through Flap's infrastructure. For Alpha 2.0 users, rewards are calculated based on average monthly holdings, with eligibility requiring an average holding of at least 10,000 MARSCOIN. Eligible rewards are distributed in SPCXB to users' Spot Accounts.
The spot listing places MARSCOIN in a broader trading environment while also bringing greater attention to its liquidity, volatility and reward structure. The immediate markets focus will be whether the increased access through Binance Spot changes trading volumes and price behavior once the three pairs become active.
