Customer (KYC) process becomes a critical step for every Pioneer to ensure a
smooth transition to the next phase. Here’s a comprehensive guide on the KYC
countdown and what you need to know based on different scenarios:

Situation 1: Awaiting KYC Invitation
For Pioneers who are still waiting for their KYC invitation, it is important
to note that no countdown clock will appear on their accounts.
As of July 1st, 92 days have passed, with the final deadline set for September
30th. Pioneers should remain patient and keep an eye out for updates from the
Pi Network team.
Situation 2: Temporary KYC Approval Status (Orange)
If your KYC status is shown as temporary approval (orange), it indicates
that you are still awaiting full approval. In this case, you will not be able
to proceed with steps 7 and 8 of the Mainnet Checklist. Be patient and
wait for full approval before moving on to the next stages.
Situation 3: KYC for Minors Under 18
For Pioneers under the age of 18, KYC is pending future updates. At this
stage, no action is required; simply await further
instructions from the Pi Core Team regarding the next steps for KYC.

Situation 4: Completing All 8 Steps and Awaiting Step 9
After completing all 8 required steps, you will need to wait to queue for
the Pi mainnet in Step 9. Currently, the countdown clock is inactive,
and the status shows a queue wait time of 184 days. Use this period to prepare
and ensure all requirements are met.
