Orbs Invests in CRYMBO to Expand Regulated Crypto Services for Financial Institutions

Orbs takes a strategic stake in CRYMBO, combining decentralized trading technology with compliance and infrastructure for regulated digital assets.

Orbs invests in CRYMBO to connect decentralized trading infrastructure with regulated digital asset services for financial institutions.

Blockchain technology
provider Orbs has taken a strategic stake in CRYMBO, a platform that helps licensed financial institutions launch regulated digital asset services through a single integration. The investment aims to connect Orbs' decentralized trading infrastructure with CRYMBO's compliance and financial operations network.

CRYMBO provides access to more than 75 service providers covering compliance, identity verification, custody, payments and other financial operations. The platform allows banks, brokers and payment companies to coordinate these services while maintaining their own brands and regulatory licenses.

The partnership brings together infrastructure for decentralized trading with the operational systems institutions need to participate in digital asset markets. Orbs said the investment complements its existing focus on decentralized execution by supporting the compliance and infrastructure requirements of institutional adoption.

CRYMBO Has Processed More Than $2 Billion

CRYMBO has processed more than $2 billion in transaction volume and is already working with licensed financial institutions.

Its infrastructure holds ISO 27001 certification and is designed to address regulatory requirements, including the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and the Financial Action Task Force's Travel Rule.

Through its network of more than 75 providers, CRYMBO offers institutions a way to access multiple digital asset services through one integration rather than independently coordinating each operational component.

Orbs Connects Decentralized Trading With Institutional Infrastructure

Orbs operates decentralized spot and perpetual futures trading through its Layer 3 network. Its offerings include dSPOT, dPERPS and execution services, which the company says have collectively processed more than $14 billion in volume.

The strategic investment in CRYMBO extends Orbs' institutional focus beyond trading and execution technology. By connecting with infrastructure for identity checks, custody, compliance and payments, the company aims to support the broader operational requirements of regulated financial institutions entering on-chain markets.

CRYMBO Seeks to Expand Institutional Reach

CRYMBO founder Eyal Daskal said the investment would support the platform's expansion and help it reach more institutional customers as financial services increasingly move on-chain.

The investment combines Orbs' decentralized trading and execution capabilities with CRYMBO's network of regulated financial service infrastructure. Both platforms are positioned to serve different requirements within the institutional digital asset market, from on-chain trading to compliance and financial operations.
