Lighter Token Rallies 8.8% as Chainlink Expands $40 Trillion Asia-Pacific Equity Data Coverage
Lighter Token ($LIT) climbed 8.8% over 24 hours to $3.35 on November 3, as Chainlink expanded its Asia-Pacific equity data infrastructure to include Lighter among the decentralized platforms receiving its market data streams. The integration covers equity markets valued at more than $40 trillion across China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
CoinGecko market data showed $LIT trading at $3.35 at 16:54 UTC, with a daily trading volume of $116.73 million. Its market capitalization reached $837.84 million, while its fully diluted valuation (FDV) stood at $3.209 billion.
The price movement coincided with Chainlink's November 3 announcement confirming that its APAC Equities Streams were available on Lighter, alongside Jupiter Exchange and Predict.fun. The development expands access to real-time pricing data for major Asian equity markets through decentralized platforms.
Chainlink Expands Equity Data Streams Across Five Asian Markets
Chainlink announced that its expanded APAC Equities Streams now cover more than $40 trillion in equity markets across China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
The infrastructure provides real-time pricing information for major publicly traded companies, including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Tencent, Samsung, SK Hynix, and BYD.
According to Chainlink's announcement on X, Lighter is among the platforms where the expanded data streams are already live. Jupiter Exchange and Predict.fun were also named as participating platforms.
The integration gives decentralized applications on supported platforms access to equity market data covering some of Asia's largest corporate names. However, the announcement did not establish that the integration directly caused the latest increase in LIT's market price.
LIT Market Capitalization Reaches $837.84 Million
At $3.35, Lighter Token traded within an intraday range of $3.01 to $3.44 on November 3. Its verified circulating supply stood at 250 million tokens, supporting a reported market capitalization of $837.84 million and an FDV of $3.209 billion.
Despite the latest recovery, the token remained 57.4% below its all-time high of $7.86. Compared with its historical low of $0.7794, however, the current price represented a recovery of 329.2%.
Over the preceding seven days, $LIT traded between $2.60 and $3.44, reflecting continued price fluctuations during the period.
Lighter's October Rally Followed Regulatory Plans
The latest advance follows several significant price movements in October. On October 21, Lighter Token surged 20% to $3.83 after information emerged from the project's quarterly investor call.
During the discussions, Lighter revealed plans to pursue a regulatory license in the United States during November. The project also disclosed that it was evaluating a potential integration with Robinhood's U.S. infrastructure, subject to approval from the relevant authorities.
Momentum subsequently weakened. On October 23, $LIT declined 9.1% to $3.32, bringing its market capitalization to approximately $829 million.
The November 3 recovery therefore comes after a period of volatility surrounding the project's regulatory ambitions and potential infrastructure developments.
Broader Crypto Market Recovers After Binance Security Incident
LIT's gains also coincided with a modest recovery across the wider cryptocurrency market. At 16:54 UTC on November 3, the total crypto market capitalization had increased by 0.9%.
The market was recovering from losses associated with the $6.3 billion security incident reported by Binance on October 30. The event was followed by a 3.32% contraction in the aggregate cryptocurrency market capitalization on that day.
Meanwhile, Lighter's regulatory roadmap remains focused on submitting its application to U.S. financial authorities during November. The planned filing represents another important development to watch as the protocol expands its market infrastructure and pursues regulatory approval.
