U.S. Government-Linked Wallets Move $103 Million in Bitcoin and BNB

U.S. government-linked wallets moved 833.6 BTC and 40,285 BNB worth about $103 million, while holdings remain near $28 billion.

U.S. government-linked wallets transfer Bitcoin and BNB worth about $103 million

U.S. government-linked cryptocurrency wallets transferred more than $103 million in Bitcoin and BNB through several addresses, including a transfer of 833.6 BTC worth about $71.6 million to Coinbase Prime, according to  Wu Blockchain on-chain analyst EmberCN.

833.6 BTC Sent to Coinbase Prime

The tracked wallets moved 833.6 BTC, valued at about $71.6 million, to Coinbase Prime. The transaction was identified as part of a series of transfers involving wallets linked to the U.S. government.

In a separate movement, 40,285 BNB worth about $31.6 million was transferred through several addresses to the wallet identified as 0xBE7...81E, EmberCN reported. Combined, the Bitcoin and BNB transfers represent approximately $103 million in cryptocurrency.

Wallets Still Hold About $28 Billion

Despite the transfers, the government-linked wallets tracked by EmberCN continue to hold roughly $28 billion in crypto assets. Bitcoin accounts for the vast majority of those holdings, with approximately 324,000 BTC worth about $27.7 billion still held in the tracked wallets.

The size of the remaining Bitcoin position means the reported 833.6 BTC transfer represents only a portion of the wallets' broader holdings. The transactions involve both a transfer to Coinbase Prime and a separate movement of BNB through multiple addresses, according to the on-chain data cited by EmberCN.

The reported transfers and remaining balances provide a snapshot of the cryptocurrency assets currently associated with the tracked U.S. government-linked wallets, with Bitcoin making up the largest portion of the approximately $28 billion portfolio.
