The purchase was funded through two sources. Strategy used $15.7 million generated from MSTR share sales and another $13 million in cash to finance the $28.7 million Bitcoin acquisition.

Three Consecutive Buying Periods

The latest purchase follows two reported Bitcoin buying periods by Strategy in September. The company previously acquired 950 BTC for $75.7 million, followed by another purchase of 1,665 BTC for $142.7 million.

With the latest 334 BTC acquisition, Strategy has reported three straight buying periods. The sequence keeps the company in an ongoing accumulation phase, based on the purchases cited in the Coin Bureau post.
