SoFi Raises 2026 Financial Forecast as Q3 Revenue Surges 44% to Record $1.4 Billion

SoFi raises its 2026 outlook after record Q3 revenue of $1.4 billion, stronger earnings, customer growth and expanding stablecoin services.

SoFi Technologies reports record third-quarter revenue and raises its financial outlook while expanding stablecoin payments and tokenized deposit services.

SoFi Technologies raised its 2026 financial outlook after reporting record third-quarter results, with adjusted net revenue climbing 44% year over year to approximately $1.4 billion as the financial technology company expanded its customer base and product offerings.

The company also introduced its financial outlook for 2027, projecting further growth in revenue, earnings and profitability. SoFi shares rose 9% in premarket trading on Tuesday following the earnings announcement.

Third-quarter adjusted EBITDA increased 70% to nearly $470 million, while net income rose 73% to $241 million. Adjusted net income reached $243 million, equivalent to $0.18 per diluted share, according to the reported results.

SoFi Customer Growth Supports Record Results

SoFi's financial performance coincided with continued expansion in its membership and product usage. The company surpassed 17 million members, an increase of 35% from a year earlier, while its total number of products grew 44%.

Chief Executive Officer Anthony Noto said the company's strategy focuses on attracting additional members, encouraging customers to use more financial products and increasing revenue generated by each product.

“We had exceptional Q3 results against the backdrop of any environment, but they are even more remarkable given how 2026 has unfolded. Our focus is simple. We are adding more members, who are using more products, and generating more revenue per product to create the most value for our shareholders over the long run,” Noto said.

SoFi now has eight businesses generating more than $100 million in annualized revenue each. Its longer-term ambition is to reach 100 million products by 2030 while building five businesses capable of generating more than $1 billion in annual revenue apiece, alongside additional operations generating more than $500 million and $100 million annually.

SoFi Expands Crypto and Stablecoin Infrastructure

Alongside its core financial services business, SoFi is developing cryptocurrency services, stablecoin payment infrastructure and tokenized deposit products.

The company became the first national bank to introduce stablecoin settlement across Mastercard's global payments network using SoFiUSD. The development expands the role of its dollar-linked digital asset within payment infrastructure.

SoFi also connected its business banking and exchange network services to Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. In addition, it launched SoFi Earn, a tokenized deposit product offering a 4.40% annual percentage yield (APY) and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insurance, according to the report.

These initiatives form part of SoFi's broader effort to expand its financial product ecosystem while developing services that connect traditional banking with digital asset infrastructure.

SoFi Lifts 2026 Revenue and Earnings Guidance

For 2026, SoFi now expects adjusted net revenue of $5.04 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $1.66 billion. The company also projects net income of $840 million and adjusted earnings per share of $0.61.

The revised outlook reflects the company's expectations following its record third-quarter performance. The company did not provide additional details in the source material about how much each business segment contributed to the updated forecast.

Company Projects Further Growth in 2027

SoFi's newly introduced 2027 forecast calls for adjusted net revenue of $6.4 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $2.24 billion. Net income is projected to reach $1.28 billion, with adjusted earnings per share expected at $0.90.

The projections indicate that SoFi expects its business expansion and product adoption strategy to support continued financial growth. Its ability to meet those targets will depend on future operating performance as it develops its banking, lending and digital asset-related services.
