Phantom Adds BNB Chain Support as Wallet Expands Beyond Solana

Phantom adds BNB Chain support, expanding its multichain wallet offering and giving users access to BNB Chain assets from one self-custody platform.
Phantom wallet adds BNB Chain support, expanding its multichain self-custody platform beyond the Solana ecosystem.

Phantom has added support for BNB Chain, bringing the network into the self-custody wallet’s growing list of supported blockchains.

BSCN reported the development in an X post, describing Phantom as a leading Solana-focused self-custody wallet and highlighting the addition of BNB Chain as a new network supported by the platform.

Phantom’s own documentation currently lists BNB Smart Chain among its supported networks alongside Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Base, Polygon, Arc, HyperEVM and Robinhood Chain.

Phantom Expands Multichain Support

The BNB Chain integration represents another step in Phantom’s expansion beyond its original concentration on the Solana ecosystem.

According to Phantom’s support documentation, users can hold, send, receive, buy and swap tokens on BNB Chain. The network uses BNB to pay transaction fees, and users can enable or disable supported networks through Phantom’s settings.

The move gives Phantom users access to BNB Chain assets without requiring a separate wallet application for that network. It also places BNB Chain alongside several other ecosystems that Phantom has added as the wallet has developed into a broader multichain platform.

Phantom’s network list has continued to change over time. The wallet ended support for Sui on September 24, 2026, while retaining support for several other blockchain networks.

BNB Chain Seeks Broader Reach

BSCN said BNB Chain has long had a major presence in Eastern markets and described the Phantom integration as a first step toward reaching Western audiences.

That characterization comes from the source post and represents BSCN’s framing of the development rather than a quantified measure of BNB Chain’s geographic user distribution.

The addition of BNB Chain to Phantom nevertheless creates a direct connection between the network and a wallet that originated around Solana. Phantom’s expansion into multiple ecosystems means its users can manage assets across supported chains from a single interface.

The wallet’s multichain strategy has also included networks with different technical architectures. Phantom currently supports EVM-compatible networks such as BNB Chain, Base and Polygon, as well as Bitcoin and Solana.

BNB Chain Joins Phantom’s Supported Networks

For BNB Chain users, the integration primarily changes wallet accessibility: BNB Chain assets can now be managed within Phantom alongside assets from the wallet’s other supported networks.

The announcement does not provide figures for the number of BNB Chain users joining Phantom, transaction volumes generated through the integration, or any specific targets for Western-market adoption. Those metrics were not included in BSCN’s X post.

Phantom’s current support documentation confirms that BNB Smart Chain is now part of its supported network roster, making the integration an established feature of the wallet rather than only an announced future addition.
