Coach JV Says XRP Is “On Fire” as Ripple Expands Banking and Stablecoin Partnerships

Coach JV says Ripple's banking and RLUSD partnerships signal institutional growth, but XRP's long-term impact depends on real utility and transactions

Ripple's banking and stablecoin developments draw attention as Coach JV discusses XRP adoption, market expectations, and long-term utility.

Crypto investor and finance coach John Vasquez, known as Coach JV, says Ripple is gaining momentum as it expands its banking relationships, digital asset custody initiatives, and stablecoin distribution. However, he cautioned XRP holders that the company's growing institutional presence may take time to translate into greater token utility and higher market prices.

In a video titled “$XRP RIPPLE IS ON FIRE,” Vasquez discussed announcements made during Ripple Swell, arguing that the cryptocurrency industry is moving toward broader institutional participation as regulatory frameworks develop.

“First they resist it, then they sue it, then they regulate it, then they join it,” Vasquez said. “We’re now in regulation and joining phase.”

Ripple's Banking and Digital Asset Developments

Vasquez highlighted Ripple's final approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish a national trust bank as one of the developments strengthening his confidence in the company.

He also pointed to Ripple's expanding relationship with BNY, which focuses on digital asset custody and the exploration of blockchain applications, including tokenized trade finance.

Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin was another key part of his assessment. Vasquez cited its partnership with Robinhood and its availability on Coinbase, where deposits and withdrawals are supported across the XRP Ledger, Base, and Ethereum.

In his view, these developments indicate that Ripple is extending its reach across traditional financial services and the digital asset industry. However, the expansion of the company's business does not automatically mean that XRP will experience an equivalent increase in demand.

Coach JV Urges XRP Investors to Be Patient

Despite his positive outlook on Ripple, Vasquez acknowledged that the company's growing list of announcements has not pushed XRP to the price levels some investors anticipate.

“Why isn’t it at 10 bucks? Patience. Patience. Patience,” he said.

Vasquez argued that institutional adoption must lead to practical use cases and real transaction activity before investors can fully assess the potential effect on XRP. He emphasized that meaningful utility and transaction flows will take time to develop.

“We need the actual utility. We need all the transactions running through it,” Vasquez said.

His comments underscore the difference between Ripple's corporate progress and XRP's market performance. Banking relationships, custody services, and additional stablecoin distribution channels can expand activity across Ripple's ecosystem, but their effect on the token will partly depend on whether those developments create additional demand for XRP.

XRP Remains Vasquez's Largest Cryptocurrency Holding

Vasquez disclosed that XRP is his largest cryptocurrency holding, followed by Bitcoin and Solana. He also said he is continuing to buy more of all three assets.

He explained that he prefers buying cryptocurrency during periods of market fear. As an example, he recalled purchasing additional XRP during Ripple's legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2020, when sentiment toward the company was negative.

Looking ahead to a potential bull market, Vasquez said he plans to sell some altcoin holdings as prices rise and transfer the proceeds into his Capital DR system. He intends to continue holding Bitcoin.

Vasquez believes the cryptocurrency industry is entering a new phase as traditional financial institutions become more involved, and he sees Ripple as being positioned to benefit from that shift. Whether the company's expanding institutional relationships translate into stronger XRP demand remains dependent on the development and adoption of real-world use cases.
