Binance Stablecoin Inflows Rise 40% as Large Investor Activity Recovers
Large stablecoin deposits into Binance have increased sharply over the past month, with rolling 30-day inflows rising 40.6% to $30.5 billion, according to CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost.
The increase from $21.7 billion represents an $8.8 billion recovery in qualifying transfers. Darkfost’s analysis tracks ERC20 stablecoin transactions worth more than $1 million flowing into Binance, a measure intended to capture substantial transfers by larger market participants.
The rebound indicates renewed movement of trading liquidity toward the exchange, but it does not establish that the deposited funds have already been used to buy Bitcoin. Stablecoins can also be held for future trades or used as collateral in derivatives markets.
Binance Stablecoin Inflows Recover After Slowdown
The latest $30.5 billion reading remains well below the previous peak highlighted by Darkfost. In October, qualifying 30-day deposits exceeded $61 billion, putting the current level at less than half of that earlier high.

Darkfost said some previous increases in stablecoin deposits coincided with market rebounds and were associated with technical bounce trades and dip buying. He distinguishes the latest recovery from those earlier episodes, linking it to his view that Bitcoin is confirming a structural trend reversal.
The rolling 30-day measure also does not represent the amount of stablecoins currently sitting on Binance. It records qualifying deposits made during the preceding 30 days, meaning higher inflows should not be interpreted as an equivalent increase in the exchange's stablecoin reserves.
Bitcoin Buying Capacity Remains Uncertain
The return of larger stablecoin transfers could provide additional liquidity for cryptocurrency trading, including potential Bitcoin purchases. However, the transfer data alone does not show how the funds were ultimately deployed.
Deposits may remain available for future transactions, be directed toward other crypto assets or be used as collateral for derivatives positions. Withdrawals are also not included in the gross inflow figure, leaving the net change in Binance's available stablecoin liquidity unresolved.
Darkfost described investors as remaining cautious as they weigh expectations for October against broader economic and geopolitical conditions. He pointed to conflict, inflation and higher bond yields as factors that could be contributing to measured investor activity.
As a result, the rise in large stablecoin inflows provides evidence of increased movement of capital into Binance, but it does not by itself confirm the scale or timing of any resulting Bitcoin buying.
