Strategy Spends $139.3 Million to Repurchase STRC Shares While

Strategy spends $139.3 million to repurchase 1.42 million STRC shares while holding 845,050 BTC and reporting $5.10 billion in USD reserves.

Strategy did not buy or sell Bitcoin during the week ended September 13, instead using $139.3 million in cash to repurchase approximately 1.42 million shares of its STRC preferred stock, according to information reported by Wu Blockchain.

The company said it made no ATM share sales between September 8 and 13. The capital allocation decision comes as Strategy continues to maintain one of the largest corporate Bitcoin holdings while managing multiple sources financial of liquidity and capital.

Strategy Maintains 845,050 BTC Position

As of September 13, Strategy held 845,050 BTC, acquired for a total of $63.73 billion. The company’s average purchase price stood at $75,412 per Bitcoin.

The figures show that Strategy’s Bitcoin treasury remained unchanged during the period covered by the latest update. Rather than directing additional capital toward Bitcoin accumulation, the company allocated funds toward its preferred-stock position through the STRC repurchase.

The decision marks a shift in the company’s capital deployment for the period, although it does not alter the scale of its existing Bitcoin position. Strategy has increasingly used a combination of equity, preferred securities and other financing mechanisms alongside its Bitcoin treasury strategy.

Strategy Reports $5.10 Billion USD Reserve

Strategy also reported a USD Reserve of $5.10 billion and USD Cash of $1.30 billion as of September 13. Those balances provide additional context for the $139.3 million allocation toward STRC share repurchases.

The absence of ATM share sales during the period is also notable because such transactions can provide companies with additional capital for corporate purposes. In this case, Strategy reported no such sales while simultaneously using cash to reduce its outstanding STRC position.

The latest figures leave Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings unchanged at 845,050 BTC. The next focus for investors will be whether the company resumes Bitcoin purchases, continues repurchasing STRC shares, or changes its capital markets allocation strategy in subsequent reporting periods.
