Spot Bitcoin ETFs Record $313.4 Million Net Inflow Through September 18
Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded more inflows than outflows during the first 18 days of September, with positive-flow days totaling $1.76 billion against $1.45 billion in negative flows, according to data shared by Coin Bureau.
The figures cover the period from September 1 through September 18 and result in a net inflow of $313.4 million for the month to date. The data shows that capital entering spot Bitcoin ETFs exceeded withdrawals over the period, although the margin between the two totals was relatively narrow compared with the gross flows in both directions.
Positive ETF Flows Outpace Outflows
According to Coin Bureau, spot Bitcoin ETFs accumulated $1.76 billion across days when net flows were positive between September 1 and September 18.
By comparison, days with negative flows accounted for $1.45 billion in outflows during the same period. The difference between the two figures produced the reported $313.4 million net inflow.
The figures provide a cumulative view of daily fund flows rather than a measure of Bitcoin's price performance. ETF inflows and outflows represent changes in capital moving into or out of the funds and do not, by themselves, establish the direction of the broader cryptocurrency market.
The positive-flow total was approximately $310 million higher than the negative-flow total over the period.
September Flows Show Two-Way Capital Movement
The data also illustrates that the monthly net figure reflects substantial movement in both directions. Investors added $1.76 billion during positive-flow days while withdrawing $1.45 billion during negative-flow days.
As a result, the $313.4 million net figure represents the balance after those larger gross movements were offset against each other.
Coin Bureau characterized the September figures as a bullish development, but the underlying numbers themselves describe ETF flows rather than a forecast for Bitcoin prices or future investor behavior.
The period covered by the data ends on September 18, meaning the figures do not include flows from the remainder of the month.
Net Inflow Remains Positive Through September 18
The $313.4 million net inflow gives spot Bitcoin ETFs a positive cumulative flow for the first 18 days of September based on the figures cited by Coin Bureau.
Whether that balance changes during the remainder of the month will depend on subsequent daily inflows and outflows. The data provided by Coin Bureau specifically covers September 1–18, leaving the final portion of the month's ETF flow activity outside the reported period.
For now, the reported figures show $1.76 billion in positive flows versus $1.45 billion in negative flows, resulting in a net inflow of $313.4 million through September 18.
