Shiba Inu Surpasses 1.8 Million Addresses Across Ethereum and Shibarium

Shiba Inu surpasses 1.8 million addresses across Ethereum and Shibarium as SHIB tests resistance near $0.00000540.
Shiba Inu surpasses 1.8 million addresses across Ethereum and Shibarium as SHIB approaches $0.00000540 resistance.

Shiba Inu has surpassed 1.8 million addresses across Ethereum and Shibarium, according to community member Mazrael, highlighting the expanding distribution of SHIB across the two blockchain networks.

Ethereum data currently places SHIB at roughly 1.689 million holders, but that figure does not include addresses holding the token through Shibarium. A screenshot shared by Mazrael from ShibWallet showed approximately 1.84 million SHIB addresses across Ethereum and Shibarium combined.

The milestone provides a broader view of SHIB's wallet distribution, although address counts should not be interpreted as a direct measure of individual investors. According to community member Mazrael, A single person can control multiple wallets, while some holders may have balances on both networks.

Even with those limitations, the combined figure indicates that Shibarium has expanded the footprint of the Shiba Inu ecosystem beyond its original Ethereum-based holder base.

Shiba Inu Addresses Expand Across Shibarium

Ethereum remains the primary blockchain associated with SHIB, while Shibarium provides infrastructure for lower-cost transactions and applications connected to the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

The expansion across both networks has also been reflected in other ecosystem tokens. BONE has approximately 98,600 holders across Ethereum and Shibarium, while LEASH has about 53,800. TREAT, another ecosystem asset, has reached roughly 4,700 holders.

These figures point to a broader Shiba Inu ecosystem that extends beyond the SHIB token itself and includes multiple assets and blockchain applications.

However, the growth in wallet addresses does not establish that user activity or adoption has increased at the same rate. Address totals alone cannot show how frequently wallets transact, whether balances are actively used or whether individual users control multiple addresses.

Transaction activity and engagement therefore remain important factors when assessing the significance of the reported milestone.

SHIB Price Approaches $0.00000540 Resistance

The increase in reported SHIB addresses comes as the token attempts to recover after four consecutive sessions of losses.

SHIB rebounded from approximately $0.000005 and climbed toward the $0.00000540 area, where selling pressure had previously restricted the recovery. The token reached $0.00000539, leaving it immediately below that resistance level.

A sustained move above $0.00000540 could strengthen the current recovery and shift attention toward higher price levels. However, another rejection near resistance could put renewed pressure on the $0.000005 support area.

The price movement remains tied to broader market conditions as well. August consumer prices increased 0.4% on a monthly basis and 3.4% annually, while expectations surrounding interest rates can influence demand for speculative assets such as cryptocurrencies.

For SHIB, the combination of expanding multichain distribution and the ongoing test of $0.00000540 leaves both network activity and market demand relevant to the token's near-term performance.
