PiScan Launches Pi Network Explorer as Users Await Protocol v27

PiScan is a new third-party Pi Network explorer offering Mainnet data, while its smart-contract scanner awaits future protocol developments.

A new third-party blockchain explorer called PiScan is drawing attention among Pi Network users by offering a way to monitor activity on the network through its Mainnet API.

The application, available at piscan.lovable.app, describes itself as a read-only explorer for the Pi Network ledger. It provides access to information including recent ledgers, transactions, account activity and network statistics.

The project was highlighted by X account @fanlujun2247, which encouraged Pi Network users to check the platform and explore activity taking place on the network.

However, one of the most closely watched features is not yet available. PiScan says its smart-contract exploration functionality will be introduced after the successful upgrade to Protocol v27 on the Pi Network Mainnet.

According to its website, PiScan reads live information from the Pi Network Mainnet API and indexes blockchain data for exploration.

PiScan explicitly states that it is not affiliated with Pi Network or the Pi Core Team.

That distinction matters because third-party blockchain explorers can display network information without being operated by the blockchain's core development organization.
