Pi Network Is Quietly Moving Deeper Into Europe — And MiCA Could Change
Pi Network is gaining a stronger presence across European cryptocurrency platforms, putting its native Pi Coin closer to one of the world's most closely watched regulated digital-asset markets.
The development has attracted renewed attention from the Pi community after a post shared by @PicoinWhales on X highlighted Pi's presence on European platforms including Bit2Me, Finst and Fazil Crypto.
While exchange availability should not be confused with regulatory approval for Pi Network itself, the growing availability of PI through European crypto service providers represents an important development for the cryptocurrency's broader market access.
Europe's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, better known as MiCA, has created a unified regulatory framework for crypto-asset services across the European Union. The framework covers crypto-asset issuance, trading and related services while introducing requirements designed to improve market integrity, consumer protection and regulatory oversight.
For Pi Network, increased exposure through regulated platforms could potentially strengthen its position within Europe's evolving digital-asset market.
Pi Coin Is Already Available on Bit2Me
One of the clearest examples is Bit2Me, a Spanish crypto platform that currently offers Pi Network trading.
Bit2Me's official Pi Network page allows users to buy PI and access trading services. The platform also says users can store Pi, send it to others and exchange it for other cryptocurrencies through its services.
More importantly from a regulatory perspective, Bit2Me's legal information states that Bitcoinforme S.L., the company behind the platform, is authorized by Spain's National Securities Market Commission, or CNMV, as a crypto-asset service provider under the European MiCA regulation.
This distinction is important.
The MiCA authorization belongs to the service provider, not to Pi Network itself. Therefore, the presence of PI on Bit2Me does not mean that Pi Network has received a MiCA license.
Instead, it shows that PI is available through a crypto platform operating within Europe's increasingly regulated framework.
Finst Brings Pi Into the Dutch Regulated Market
The Netherlands provides another notable example.
Finst, a Dutch cryptocurrency platform, currently offers services for Pi Network, including buying and selling PI for euros and USDC. Its official platform states that Finst is authorized as a crypto-asset service provider by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets, or AFM.
Finst's Pi Network service also allows users to deposit PI, sell the cryptocurrency for euros and withdraw funds to a bank account.
That gives Pi Coin another point of access to a European markets operating under the MiCA framework.
The development is particularly significant because MiCA is designed to create a more harmonized regulatory environment for crypto services across the European Union.
For a cryptocurrency seeking broader international adoption, availability through regulated service providers can potentially make access easier for users who prioritize compliance and established financial infrastructure.
Fazil Crypto Adds Another European Connection
Fazil Crypto is another European platform that supports Pi Network.
The company's cryptocurrency support page lists Pi Network, identified by the ticker PI, among the assets available through its platform.
Fazil Crypto has also obtained MiCA authorization in Spain.
According to the company, Fazil Crypto received authorization from the CNMV in April 2026 to operate as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA.
Again, the distinction between the platform and the cryptocurrency is critical.
Fazil Crypto's MiCA authorization does not mean that Pi Network has been granted a European regulatory license. Rather, it means that a regulated European crypto service provider offers support for PI while operating within the region's regulatory environment.
