Cardano and Bitcoin Now Share One Wallet SDK
According to BSCN, Mesh’s SDK includes headless wallets, core wallet modules and transaction signing for both Cardano and Bitcoin. The toolkit also supports Cardano’s CIP-30 standard and is available through npm.
The project was completed through four milestones delivered under Catalyst Fund 14, according to the information shared by BSCN.
Mesh Expands Multi-Network Wallet Support
The new SDK brings wallet functionality for Cardano and Bitcoin into the same development framework. Its support for headless wallets and core wallet modules is designed to provide the underlying components needed to manage wallet operations without relying on a conventional graphical wallet interface.
Transaction signing is also supported across both networks, allowing developers to use the SDK for transaction-related wallet functionality on Cardano and Bitcoin.
Mesh announced the release as a production-ready SDK, distinguishing the implementation from an experimental or development-only toolkit.
Cardano CIP-30 Support Included
The SDK also supports Cardano’s CIP-30 standard, an important component of Cardano wallet connectivity.
By incorporating CIP-30 support alongside Bitcoin wallet functionality, the SDK provides developers with access to wallet capabilities for both networks through the same software package. The SDK is distributed through npm, allowing developers to integrate it into their existing development environments.
The combination of Cardano-specific functionality and Bitcoin support is the central feature of the release, rather than requiring separate wallet development frameworks for each network.
Four Catalyst Fund 14 Milestones Completed
The development was completed through four delivered milestones under Catalyst Fund 14.
Catalyst is Cardano’s community-driven funding program, and the four completed milestones mark the stages through which Mesh delivered the project described in the announcement.
With those milestones completed, Mesh has now shipped the production-ready wallet SDK supporting both Cardano and Bitcoin. The software is available through npm, providing the current distribution channel for developers looking to use the toolkit.
