Bitcoin reclaimed $80,000 as major cryptocurrencies rallied, while Zcash jumped 15.6% and smaller tokens posted triple-digit gains.
Bitcoin above $80,000 alongside Zcash and other cryptocurrencies during a broad crypto market rally.

Bitcoin climbed back above $80,000 as major cryptocurrencies posted broad gains, with Zcash leading the largest digital assets with a 15.6% surge. The rally pushed several major tokens higher as buying activity strengthened across the market.

Bitcoin (BTC) rose 3.8% to $80,908.65, with $40.39 billion in trading volume and a market capitalization of $1.62 trillion. Ethereum (ETH) gained 4.3% to $2,514.25, while its trading volume reached $17.01 billion and its market value exceeded $306.83 billion.

The gains extended across other large-cap cryptocurrencies. BNB (BNB) advanced 3.6% to $721.69, supported by $1.24 billion in trading volume and a market capitalization of $96.10 billion.

XRP (XRP) posted a stronger move, rising 5.6% to $1.45 on more than $4.03 billion in trading volume. Solana (SOL) increased 2.7% to $103.92, giving the token a market capitalization of $60.85 billion on $4.04 billion in volume.

TRON (TRX) added 0.6% to $0.3282, maintaining a market value above $31.16 billion. Hyperliquid (HYPE) gained 4.6% to $86.12, while Dogecoin (DOGE) advanced 4.8% to $0.08735.

Zcash Leads Major Crypto Gains

Zcash (ZEC) was the standout performer among the major cryptocurrencies listed, climbing 15.6% to $970.13. Trading volume for ZEC reached $1.04 billion across leading exchanges.

The move put Zcash well ahead of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other large-cap assets during the broad market advance.

While the major cryptocurrencies recorded relatively moderate percentage gains, activity was considerably more aggressive among smaller tokens. Several of those assets posted gains of more than 100%, although their trading volumes varied significantly.

Smaller Tokens Post Triple-Digit Gains

Bitcastle Token (BCE) recorded the largest percentage increase among the smaller cryptocurrencies listed, surging 165% to $0.09969. Its daily trading volume exceeded $1.02 million.

Metadium (META) followed with a 158.4% gain to $0.01979, although its trading volume was substantially lower at $288,883.

Prologue (PROLOGUE) rose 79.4% to $0.01873, with $9.23 million in trading volume. Lil’ Shrub (SHRUB) climbed 61.1% to $0.01807 after generating more than $5.20 million in volume.

Useless Coin (USELESS) gained 59.5% to $0.2421 and recorded $202.39 million in trading volume, giving it the highest liquidity among the listed smaller-token gainers.

Would (WOULD) advanced 49.3% to $0.07295, although its daily trading volume remained relatively low at $157,977.

Onyxcoin (XCN) rose 39.5% to $0.004548, with trading volume reaching $31.74 million. Hookr.fun (HOOKR) gained 37.4% to $0.01808 on approximately $7.02 million in volume.

Basecat (BASECAT) rounded out the group with a 26.7% increase to $0.04881 and $28.87 million in trading activity.

The contrast between the two groups was pronounced. Smaller tokens delivered much larger percentage gains during the rally, but their relatively limited trading activity and market valuations indicate considerably less liquidity than the established cryptocurrencies.
