Chainalysis Accuses ICE of Steering $94.66 Million Blockchain Contract to TRM Labs

Chainalysis Government Solutions has filed seven claims against the U.S. government, challenging the award of a $94.66 million sole-source blockchain analytics contract by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to rival TRM Labs, according to information shared by @WuBlockchain on X.

The company alleges that ICE evaluated its proposal using requirements that were not fully disclosed in the final Statement of Need and that several of the criteria closely corresponded with products and partnerships already held by TRM Labs.

Chainalysis is asking a federal court to block the contract award and require the agency to conduct a full and open competition. Oral arguments in the case are scheduled for September 2.

Chainalysis Challenges ICE Contract Award

The dispute centers on a $94.66 million contract for blockchain analytics services. Chainalysis Government Solutions is contesting ICE’s decision to award the contract to TRM Labs without a broader competitive process.
